You are correct in that near the top is the problem spot - that passenger side wall.

Seems like if you’re too far away you lift that tire bad. Ride too high and it wants to dump drivers side…

I forgot that I had that video. I just took a quick look at it again. It’s the issue I spoke about earlier where there is a wall and people want to turn away from it. If you do turn away from it you end up on your side. You have to to turn into it. When I did it I tried to straddle it but then slipped down, but I still turned into the passenger side as I went up.

It's 2.5 hours west of Moab, but if you're driving close to Capital Reef NP, the Cathedral Valley Trail www.nps.gov/care/planyourvisit/cathedralvalley.htm is a 57 mile journey through 8 different terrains. Spectacular scenery, and nothing too challenging. One river crossing was only 13" deep the day we crossed it.

Almost time to make this trip. Ended up doing a high clearance rear bumper so the plan is to run Hells Revenge either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

We are driving into Moab Saturday afternoon and am torn between doing Hurrah Pass / Chicken Corners or Schafer switchbacks and Long Canyon. Thinking it will end of being the latter as I don’t think the kids will want to do an out and back trail after being in the truck all
    morning.

Sunday morning heading to Arches NP.

If anyone is going to be around Moab feel free to hit me up for a beer wherever we can find one.

I was going to say you are a brave man to be in Moab this time of year...but then I remembered where you live.

After recharging a bit - we headed for Canyonlands NP. We took the Potash road to the Schafer Trail. That was a fun drive with some great viewpoints. Not for those afraid of heights.
Stopped by the Canyonlands visitor center for a bit before taking Long Canyon road back down towards Moab. Approximately 3 hours for the loop.

We hit some mud on the Schafer Trail the day before - the clay sticks to everything. I’m rocking Sedona red wheels at the moment.

It was pretty tough to wipe the smile off my face. Everyone already said they’ll go back. We ran the trail at 6:30 this morning - we didn’t see another soul for 2 hours when we were on our way back out.

Hell yeah!! Only time that is a bad thing is when you have a disabled vehicle. We have came across people that were waiting for a while. Go prepared is a real thing in Moab.
