I have a set of Bilstein 6112/5160 that I used on my DD for the last 4 years. Under my ownership they only saw highway use and about 20k miles. I did buy them used and all I know per the previous owner is that he also used them for 20k miles. They are assembled on the top setting.

I would recommend a rebuild of these before using. I meant to take a picture before I sprayed them off but the rear struts might have had a leak at some point.

Could you just slap these on? Sure. But again I would recommend a rebuild.

Also throwing in a pair of .5 inch coachbuilder shims.

Selling because I installed a new Dobinsons set up. I can possibly ship these today or tomorrow I'm getting them boxed up today.

Looking to get $350 shipped. Price is firm. First with payment gets them. Don't want these sitting in my garage. Located in Charlotte NC area.

    Pics incoming momentarily.

    Edit: Price drop

    Edit: SOLD

At what lift/level do you need to be mindful of bump stops and look to update?

    2 QQs for you:
    • I see a shim installed on one of the front coilover setups. What shim setup were you running? 1 shim on one side and 2 on the other side? Or, are 2 shims you're throwing in just extras you had?
    • About how much is shipping running you? I see you've included it. Trying to get an idea of how much it might cost me to ship these for a rebuild.
    Thanks!

When I bought these used, they were assembled as you see pictured. I assumed that shim was what came with the kit but I can't tell you for sure. I was aiming for a 3/1 lift when I bought these which is why I got the coachbuilder shims. Initially I was going to put 2 shims on one side to compensate for the potential driver side lean but ultimately I didn't want over complicate things and just installed the coachbuilder shim on each front strut.

As far as shipping, just ball park shipping these UPS from NC to CA the published rate is about $120. If you do a little digging you can find coupons and ship them much less. Just a thought but you might even be able to find a local shock rebuilder in your area and avoid shipping.

Not sure I can answer this. I never thought I needed bump stops with this set up. A quick search on the forum will yield you many different opinions. I'd recommend reaching out to a supplier and see what they recommend.
