I am thinking about changing the antenna (gps) on my Tundra. Curious if anybody has a photo or information on the connections used by the factory antenna.

My question would be why change it. Will the new one work better? Does the new one look better or last longer? Is the one on the truck now not working the way you would like it to work?

I've been searching for solutions to this. I want to keep my roof top tent as low and close to the roof as possible due to parking limitations, and the factory sharkfin antenna is getting in the way of that. Recognizing that the factory antenna has its purposes, I'd like to also retain its functionality without doing a full delete and replacing it with a blank cover.

For me, it would have been this. I had to notch out the drywall and plywood around my HVAC ductwork to accommodate the antenna.

I went down this road on my '21 Pro. Bigger tires prohibited parking in my garage. I removed the shark fin and used rubber washers with a bolt and nut to seal the hole. Left the unplugged wire tucked up under the headliner. Voila, parking in the garage after that was no problem.
