I have a 2008 double cab in the Silver Sky Metallic (1D6). I managed to back into my old tractor while attempting not to run over the dogs and now am looking at repairs. I found a gen 2.5 box to swap out, and it will match up with the 2017 ARE Camper cap that I found. (If you've ever looked for a used Gen 2 topper you know how hard they are to find.)
I see some discussions on the forum about mounting up a 2.5 box assembly to a 2.0. It looks as if it should work. I'll let you know.
