Browsing eBay to get myself a lil something for @Mr.bee 's birthday and saw this Ivan Stewart grille

 

What a deal... holyshit. Do they actually go for that? I could see if it was a new/old stock but dayum.

 

That’s going to require either running boards or a roof rack that look like sidewinder missiles for some semblance of authenticity.

 

I doubt its selling at that price, but there's a sucker born every day.

@shifty` could probably tell us more than we want to know about the rare grilles.

 

Ivan Stewart, a few people on here have, @daveeasa is one. They only look good in certain colors IMO because of the fat border, which seems to jibe well with DC but looks out of place on AC/RC to me.

My guess is, seller is fishing for offers. i.e., they're intentionally pricing higher than remotely reasonable to trigger best offers, so they can pick and choose and/or figure out where to set the price.

In the condition it's in, with the metal rot on the insert and bracket, I've be shocked if he got more than $150. Seller should do themselves a favor and drop the price to $250 OBO and they may actually start getting offers.

We had one in significantly better condition sell on here for around that price.

Headed into the shop to finish my front suspension. Just need to put the sway bar on, torque everything, and hit it with a Jake Jake string alignment.

 

Digging up an old one here, but I've found zero info using forum search of this mod. Maybe I need to look elsewhere. I've only seen on here where ethan did the T4R jshift swap.

 

That is the one I got. Had it painted white. Got a few different TRD decals for it, I think black first then red. Cause it came with just a sticker. Ended up stuffing it in a cardboard box when my knockoff plastic pro style grille arrived.

It might look good in another color.
