2024 Tundra audio issue. Does the head unit have to have connectivity to satellites, cell towers or a witch doctor? It happens with audiobooks, spotify and regular radio playing. Android Auto is running, Google maps is leading the way, then in almost the exact spot, about 3 miles from DFW airport while traveling north or south, the head unit gives a "Unable to connect" error and restarts at a minimum, four or five time.
I cant find anyone else bitching about it so maybe the occurrence is too small to bother.

I’ve had my ‘24 iforce max limited for about a month now and occasionally have had CarPlay connectivity issues where my iPhone says I’m connected via Bluetooth, but the head unit doesn’t recognize the same and I can’t play anything other than XM or regular radio.

I have the Toyota app (dealer “made me” install) and a couple times I’ve noticed Toyota app notifications pop up when I start the truck. Sometimes I see them and sometimes I just get in the truck and go.

Not sure if that has anything to do with my specific connectivity issues or not, but when CarPlay connects properly at start up I get the iPhone maps notification on my phone rather than any Toyota app notification(s).

More often than not, I don’t have issues, but it’s certainly not seamless each time.
