Well just another dealer disappointment. I had my 23 Limited TRD OR in for service this week. Had the gas line perm fix and brake reprogramming, as well as a cracked driver seat panel, squeaking front passenger seat and some weird tick coming from the rear of the truck.

I scheduled the appointment, reserved a loaner and dropped off my truck. At least they had the loaner.

They fixed the cracked seat panel under warranty and actually had it in stock. Did the brake reprogram and greased up the frame of the seat. All good.

Failed to mention that they do not have the perm fix available for the fuel tank, techs new nothing about it and don't even have the instructions to fix it even though it show up on my app as available.

I was thinking the weird tick was my hydraulic cab mount, but it turned out to be a wheel weight that came off and was hiding between the rim and wheel hub. Bad on me there I guess, must be when I rotated the tires. They did however charge me $240 to diagnose and rebalance my tire. Seems like over kill, especially since it will be going back in for fuel line fix, at my time and effort.

    I hate dealers...

That's why you buy the most reliable vehicle available on the market and never see any dealers again.

Odd. My app and the National Govmnt recall web site show no permanent fix is available for the fuel hazard leak.

I just double checked my app and now it say the remedy is being prepped. 2 weeks ago it said remedy available. When I made the appointment, the dealer sounded like it was available as well.

My dealer(who I consider a good one) told me there is still no perm fix yet as of late last week.

It has changed indeed to being prepped.

My dealership is totally incapable of making an appointment and having the parts. They prefer make an appointment for you to show up to then tell you they will order the parts and call you when they come in. Which they never do. Vicious cycle initiated

My dealer ordered parts in May and told me it was the permanent fix. From what I gather he is misinformed. I cancelled the appointment and am just waiting for the permanent fix.

I requested the temp fix at 5k, 10k and finally got it at 15k a year later.

I love my purchase dealer; used to live there and bought several times from the dealer group. My local dealer is a turd

my initial dealer took 7 weeks to get the parts in for the temp fix. I went in for the scheduled appointment - waited 30 minutes to only have the service manager come out and tell me the parts were not in - they used them on another customers vehicle. Went to another dealer - now my go to dealer - they got them in is 3 days and had me done within a week.

dealers can make or break a truck experience at times, mine is great and it makes things so much easier down to just oil changes, etc. everything is just done, no BS. Its nice
