I bought a new 2023 last June (just went over 1 year in this month).

I have had a small crack on the side for a while but today getting out it split like this..

I am wondering if warranty will cover this, really pisses me off not a small guy but not giant either....

Anyone have advice and or similar experience?

Calling dealership later today i bought it from.

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
This has been on here numerous times. Most people take it back to the dealership and get it fixed for free as a warranty replacement. Mine cracked by the side buttons. Toyota apparently remade a new part but people have stated that it cracks as well.

The person who designed this part needs to be canned. IMO, my 2008 cracked but my 2017 didn’t but now my 2022 cracked. Poor design.

Apparently the backstory is that there was an unpaid intern in the engineering dept. and he was bothering everybody, so they sent him off to the basement office to design this cover, and also the radio knob.
