Hey, Has anyone yet tried to retrofit the OEM tow mirrors on their truck? I have a MGM Platinum and would like to install the tow mirrors because I like the side light that is built into them and they are pretty functional from a "more complete view" standpoint. Plus (pure vanity reason), I do not like to see empty slot on my dash where buttons could be be. Let me know if anyone has attempted this retrofit.

    Thanks.

Well crap. Pushing my dealer down this rabbit hole, if they say anything different I’ll post. Guess I’ll wait for Boost and hope it’s good.

only bad part of the oem tow mirrors is that they are black unlike the plats painted one. we dont tow enough to justify the oem blacks, but would have picked them up if they were painted for the maybe 1% chance of towing something needing them

    but thats just us

I'm interested in the tow mirrors too. I don't understand why the limited or the Platinum with the AVS airbag system which is designed to tow doesn't come with Tow Mirrors in the first place.
