I’m trying to figure out if my keyless entry receiver module (
89741-0C060) is bad or if there is a wire disconnect from previous owners remote start being removed.
The key I use locks/unlocks all doors from the drivers door and the rear hatch.
Took it to have some fobs programmed and the tech’s computer said “no keyless entry present”.
I located the receiver module in the left rear trim, wire harness is receiving power. I tested resistance/continuity on the module itself (I don’t know which pin is what so I tested every combination of pairs in the 5 pins available) got 0/open loop. I assume since it receives 12v power it must have some kind of continuity reading.
Called Toyota to find out what the resistance should be and the technicians didn’t know what I was talking about. Does anyone here know?

Before I go spend the money on a new/used module, could there just be a wire I need to address? I do not know anything about aftermarket remote system installs but hoping someone hear may be able to point me in the right direction.
    TIA
