Hello all. I have a 2011 with AB60E I just replaced the transmission with a low mileage one because the reverse went out after trying everything.... the new tranny was installed. it started doing the same thing ..today no reverse. Drove it around..then it started reversing again... transmission oil is properly serviced. No codes any idea why the "no reverse" came back.????

Is there any adjustable linkage on this transmission? Long shot here, but I had the same problem with a newer utility van. I thought it was a bad rebuilt transmission, but I just didn't have the linkage adjusted right.

    Welcome from TX.

    Sounds like an electronic issue.

Bummer Kevin. I'm with Charles and thinking this is an electronic issue that is common to both transmissions. It would be highly unlikely to have two go out like that.

Transmission speed sensor? Did the reman come with them or did you have to switch it from original? I only ask because mine started acting up (no code) but in reading about them no reverse can occur.

I switched mine and it seems to have stopped my weird shifting. Just tonight I installed new beck/arnley from Amazon which turned out to be Aisin - dealer oem are on back order which tells me they are a popular part.

Try swapping front and rear sensors and see if it helps.
