Help me decide which wheels to run. I'm really leaning towards FN five stars (out if stock atm), but I also like the summit Dakars, but they only come in 0 offset. What other quality 17" wheels do you recommend that have similar styles, and come in reasonable offset (18 to 25 ideally). Bonus question; should I go with black? Or Grey (titanium, gunmetal, etc) on my MGM? I plan on blacking out the badges and deleting all remaining chrome. Pictures of your setups appreciated. Thanks.

I can't seem to get into the bronze personally. A little too flashy for me I think.

Multiple company's make the same style wheel designs. All made in China with different brand names stamped on them.

You got any links? I've found a bunch that are similar to the five star, but none with a +25 offset. SCS is the closest, but their F5 is an 18" wheel. I haven't completely crossed that one off my list, but I would prefer 17". A have seen a few more options that resemble the Dakar. Method makes the 314 in a +25 for example. But I'm not a big fan of that detail around the lip.

There are so many wheels and options. Check Fuel and Icon.

I don’t like either….which is why I’d never ask advise on aesthetics.

I like the FNs in blue. I haven't found anything else that will work for the setup that I want.

Also, they are the lightest wheels you can get without getting outrageously expensive like with TE37s or Lightspeed racing

I was mostly asking where to find alternatives, not so much asking about anyone else's preference on aesthetics. But thanks for your comment. You're very helpful .

I like the SSW Dakar wheels best of these all. Fine spoke looks better to my eye. Clean looking. FWIW
Is o mm offset gonna poke out more than 25mm of the 5 spoke?

My ocd won't allow me to have a 6 spoke wheel on a 5 lug truck unfortunately.

    About an inch more yeah.

And that's what I like about the Dakars too. Very slim spokes. Looks better than the chunky versions from method and icon.
