Corsa Exhaust

New member to the forums, first want to say glad I stumbled across this place.

Next, I just recently installed the Corsa Exhaust on my truck and it is ridiculously loud. Straight Pipe sounding. Very raspy and ricey at times. No drone as advertised though. Looking at their website and seeing the sound level considered to be “Sport” I’m beginning to wonder if it’s mine or if any other users here have the Corsa Exhaust and what yours sounds like.

 

If that is the exhaust it doesn't look like you have a lot of room for one but you can have an exhaust shop weld in a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator:

No worries. Please do a before and after if you do install one.

If you have the longer bed with the straight pipe segment before the muffler you might be able to clamp the resonator in instead of welding it in. If the resonator is the same and correct length as the pipe it would just be a swap.

They have a few variations on Vibrant's site but other companies make them too. Search around you might find one with better fitment.

My only gripe with the Vibrant version is they use fiber glass in their version. Fiberglass breaks down over time. For sound absorption, a louvered core works better but that specific resonator was designed to flow better. Either way it will change the tone of your exhaust.

 

I’ve never seen a corsa that is soft on our trucks. I suspect you’re missing some catalytic converters. Post up or text me some pics of the rest of the exhaust system. 760-877-4234
