I'm really beginning to believe this latest generation of young teens will be a lost generation. Yesterday my grandson and two friends were playing at the park across the street. Manny was on his unicycle wheel. One friend was using Manny's bike. The other friend was on his own bike. All three were approached by some punks. One of them punched Manny's friend in the eye twice. The boys brought their rides and left them at the front door of my building and rushed through the hallway to the back door to where I was in the back of the building installing my front receiver hitch. They told me what happened. I asked "where's the wheel and bike's?" "Go get them!" Too late. Those punks stole all three and took off. There were witnesses but no one saw "anything". I called 911 but couldn't send a cruiser out and to file an online police report since I couldn't prove who took the wheel and bikes! Quite pissed. That wheel cost me $2000. I asked some kids in the park if they saw what happened. "We don't give a shit."

The youngest boy's mom was incensed. We know what apartment complex the rides were taken to. She knows several people that live there. The kids I talked to are from there and had returned from the park. She lit into them. I calmed her down a bit and offered up a $200 reward if the rides get returned. They know something. A figured a $200 incentive might help. Hopefully some good news today. Several adults came over and said they'd get to the bottom of this. I've disabled the wheel with my app. It's a brick now. I don't need this BS. SMH.

 

I have the model # and serial # on my phone app. My friend across the hall who got Manny into "wheeling" notified the wheeling community on Facebook. It's a small and very tight community. I know that the theft report info will go to all the pawn shops.
