P17A4 Error Code - 2015 Limited Crew Max

I have a 2015 Limited Crew Max with ~150K miles (I'm the original owner). I put the truck into 4HI this past weekend to get up some loose rock w/ my trailer. I believe it went into 4HI, came to flat ground and started to switch back in to 2WD. 4HI and 4LO started to flash, and has been flashing ever since. Truck is currently in 2WD, I've tried disconnecting the battery, shift to N, etc...

Had a buddy in the neighborhood pull codes, it's throwing P17A4. My brother is a diesel mechanic for Caterpillar, is this something we can fix/truly diagnose. Not sure I want to take it to the dealership quite yet.

I've not had the truck in 4WD HI for a few months, just an FYI...
