I just got a brand new 2024 Tundra Limited last week and after looking into the best ways to maintain it, I’m debating whether to do System X Ceramic Coat by a guy in town, Xpel full front (hood fenders grill mirror backs etc), or both. Got quoted $1100 for ceramic and $2500 for ppf. I drive ~330 miles to Louisiana and back 1-2 times a month so the ppf is appealing for rock damage etc, but I’m deciding whether its actually worth the $2500 and the risk of it yellowing in 4 years and stripping some paint on removal. I’m pretty much decided on the ceramic to go ahead and do it just to help prevent bug damage and make washing and upkeep a lot easier. What are you guys’ thoughts? Am I obsessing over little things by spending $2500 on ppf?
