Traded my truck in yesterday. 1794 TRD OR 6.5 bed, 25k miles. For reference I got 10k msrp off a new Diesel 3500 Ram Limited Longhorn, and trade was 50,500. One thing important to note, I went to 2 dealers and both said they could not sell Tundra except to auction, because of outstanding fuel line recall. Doesn't matter parts aren't available, a legality issue. My vin was not under engine recall(yet) thankfully. This has been overblown so bad by media, but damage is done. Sad deal, loved my truck but just didn't see any good scenario. I drove all 3 GM gas engines, and hemi and hurricane gas engines. Gm and Hemi have lifter failures, hurricane HO unproven...but damn that focker runs. I did see a few have sucked valves in Grand Cherokee. It's concerning they're pulling 540hp out of a 3.0L. May be fine but learned my lesson to wait. I've had 3 ram dually's, put 125k on each pulling trailers for a living. Still drove like new and zero problems. Besides price is not much different between half and one tons. Buy by weight!

Ouch. I’m assuming you paid around $70,000+for the Tundra. $20,000 is a hell of a hit to take on a 1 year old truck just because of a small chance of problems. Did you just need a heavy duty truck?

You have this posted twice, possibly remove this one since it doesn't have pics like other one.

Nice congrats on new truck. Good thing about the Ram 3500 Diesel is that thedrivetrain is not made by Ram :D so should be good to go!
I have one as my work truck and don’t mind it at all.

Wow, the worst possible time to trade in a Gen 3. Not sure about the legality issue on the recall, I thought that was only with new vehicles. Good luck on the new truck!
