Hello everyone! Been searching on the forums here can’t really find what I’m looking for. Just made it to Florida today from North Carolina and noticing the voltage meter moving a little bit. Took it to advance auto and they cleaned/tightened the terminals they were loose. They said battery is very strong but alternator is low at 13.46. Should I be concerned to fix this while I’m here in Florida for the week or is it normal for these trucks?

Service manual say 13.2v at 2,000 rpm with no load. Not sure if your voltage was loaded or no load. I would think loose terminals would cause what you described.
How many miles are on your truck?

On a cold start stock - I’d see 13.5ish and warmed up as low as 13.0-13.1. I’ve added a voltage booster but those numbers are the Toyota norm IME.

177k and it was 13.46 at idle. I am finding more info that this is normal. Once The terminals were cleaned and tightened no more jumpy gauge

If you ever see the gauge going over 14v it’s a sign the alternator is on its last leg, the alternators production of amperage has lowered and compensates by producing more voltage

This is what the 2013 Tundra TRD Off Road (5.7L V8) shows in the manual, page 670:
Open voltage at 68-degrees 12.6 to 12.8 volts = Fully Charged battery
    12.2 to 12.4 volts = Half charged
    11.8 to 12.0 volts = discharged
(Voltage checked 20 minutes after the ignition key is removed with all the lights turned off).

With the engine running and all the lights, fan, AC and so on off, the alternator tester I have shows 15.5 volts coming to the battery as being overcharging, and that the maximum charging voltage should be 14.5 volts coming to the battery is OK (hasn't reached 15.5 volts). But an alternator charge of 13.2 volts should be the proper alternator or a charger charging voltage.
