I found a thread on a Tacoma forum a while back that described how to terminate the three antennas on the DCM. I wondered if the Tundra uses the same or similar DCM unit and if the same solution would apply.

After disassembling the glove box area, I confirmed the DCM appears to be the same. Unplug the white, gray and blue antenna connectors pictured and plug in the termination wires. Zip tie everything up to keep tension off the connectors and done.

I ordered the antenna termination kit from the Tacoma forum user to fool the DCM into believing the antennas are still connected but out of range.

After installation, I can confirm the DCM signal on the multimedia screen shows not connected and the SOS button has a red indicator light lit.

There is some evidence from the same thread that the DCM has an internal cellular chip that can still connect, but it is not clear what data continues to transmit.

Here is a link to the kit.

I used the following video to disassemble the dash.
