    Hi all,

I have a 2006 Sequoia 4WD. During an inspection (which it passed), I was advised to take it to a frame shop. Frame shop says it has extensive rust. I've read lots of information about frame rust.

The Sequoia was my husband's (who passed away). He mostly drove it on long trips or to the Outer Banks off NC for fishing. Before the inspection above I drove it about 650 miles on a trip. Engine is great, 165,000 miles on it. Very smooth ride. Body and interior aren't perfect, but are in very good shape.

Any advice on the best way to sell it to get the most for it? I don't want to sell it to an individual without disclosing the frame rust situation.

    Thank you.

    Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!

I applaud your integrity and am sorry to hear about your husband. I would ask this question in the General forum to get the most responses. A lot of backgrounds represented here, including mechanics, attorneys, and others who may be able to help you out.
