The early Showa era Zilla movies were a bit cheesy. Ha! Minus One was excellent. Saw the B&W at the theater and now the color version on Netflix. Preferred the B&W. Much more sinister. No English subtitles, but not a big deal. I could pick up a lot of what was being said. My 5 years in Japan helped. Manny couldn't understand but he figured out what was going on. He's now a Godzilla fan big time too!

 

I watched it in theaters, but in color. Subbed of course. I did watch it dubbed with Mom on netflix, but still had to have subs on for her. Hearing ain't the best anymore at her age. I would have caught it again in the B&W version, but work interfered.

Man, that sounds delightful so long as the sun is out for those temps. 50s with not sun might be a little chilly on the bike. Sounds pretty damn good though.

 

Yeah, it's been sunny all week... It can be hit and miss w/overcast and light rain during the summer and fall. I'd imagine that would make it chilly on a bike, but I hate the freakin' heat and sun, so it's perfect for me

 

Sounds damn near like heaven. I'd get a warmer jacket and ride anyway.

Yeah, as much as I would have an interest in knowing my own personal genetic make up, I have less than zero interest in more family that I don't know and won't talk to.

I wouldn't give my DNA to any company that even offers that part. Too many companies say you can opt out or not have your info disclosed or whatever, and then you wind up with exactly what you didn't want. I won't do it.

I also don't like the idea of being in a database that any alphabet agencies can get access to.

 

I'm pretty sure the first time you sneezed while sitting in your Taco Pro that your DNA was captured, recorded and sent off for analysis and storage....

 

100% agree. My brother did it a while back and showed me his results. As long as one of us isn’t 50% postman, his results are close enough.

I see some family once a year and that’s borderline too much.
