Anything under 165,000lbs should be good to go.

It goes down with options. If you have bedliner, a sunroof, steps, etc, it’s going to lower your tow rating. You’re probably at 8800-9000 lb would be my guess.

My truck is rated for 9200 lb. I have 1270 lb of payload on the door jamb. So if I’m in the truck at 180 lb, I can handle 1090 lb of tongue weight according to the door jamb.

There should be a code at the bottom of the door jamb sticker that has your axle ratings. It’ll look something like USKSKA-something.

Find that code, and post it here. Along with your “occupants and cargo shall not exceed ____” number on the other sticker.

    That’ll tell you real quick.

Top weight safely? Oh, around 7,000 pounds...Maybe...If it's a travel trailer under 26 feet. Now, a flatbed trailer full of rebar with good brakes, you can get closer to the max listed number.

in this picture my truck is hovering right at 7200# with the trailer about 200# short of it's 6080 GVWR. For me it's a well balanced rig. Enough room but not too much weight or length. It's a pleasure trip.

First of all, fist bump for owning a 2021 Lunar Rock TRD Pro. Special piece of Toyota history right there.

Agree w/ @Retired...finally, right around 7000lb and 26' long is the limit for me on an RV.

I pull this camper around and personally would not want to go any larger: https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/print/rockwood/2507S/6067 . Weight is one thing, but the height/length/width makes it not fun to tow when it's windy (which is all the time in the Midwest).

It's very important that you also have a properly set up weight distribution hitch.

How you liking the vintage? Wife digs the style and we are looking to downsize from our 29’ Ultralite (7200# unloaded, probs 8200# kitted to camp.)

you gotta understand these are designed to be used about 2 weeks a year. We live in ours more than we live in our home in Ohio and it's holding up pretty good. I'm staying on top of the little things that break on every trailer out of Elkhart area. It does have a one piece fiberglass laminated roof and adzel sides so you aren't going to see it going down the highway with a big bubble on top like the flexible rubber type roofs.
The real big positive is that at the time of purchase, Gulfstream was still a privately, family owned company so at least the design was better than most.
So, for us to live in that thing for 7 months+ says alot. We got the 23 RSS model. I'd rather have an Airstream but this only cost $26K plus tax new in Aug 21.

Remember that the Pro is leveled so you're going to be back here in a few months complaining about "sag" after you hitch your trailer up.

I completely understand. We used ours as a transition residence between houses and during a remodel twice. About 7-8 months total. Now we just go the lake for the weekend. It’s basically an apartment on wheels and was perfect at the time but overkill now.

@Tundraluv=2 I hope we answered your questions. Whatever you do, don't ask about transmission coolers.:deadhorse::crapstorm:

Don’t worry, I got you covered.

Hey OP, you need to install a transmission cooler.
