Only seen their computer generated pics, anybody installed these yet?

Pros/cons vs like katskin or just some other $2-300 fake leather covers?

I have leather Clazzios on order for my 23 SR5 Tundra, but it is about a 12 week wait since they are being made in Japan. I have about 6 weeks left. I paid $699.
The guy at Clazzio told me they don't have a stock built up for the new Tundras yet, so all are currently made to order from Japan. That may change over the next few months as they get them made. I had Clazzio leather covers on my Tacoma and they were the best upgrade I ever made. Quality is excellent and they look and feel like factory leather upholstery and not simple seat covers. Nobody that got in my Tacoma ever believed they were covers, and they held up great for 5 years until I traded it in. All of the fake leather covers I've seen online don't fit nearly as well and seem to be loose and wrinkled. I would say Katskin is better overall, but they aren't "slip on" and they cost a lot more.
The Clazzios I have on order are black with dark grey middle inserts and grey stitching. I'm actually considering ordering solid black ones with red stitching since that would go with my interior accessories a little better. If I decide to go with black/red, I will sell the black/grey Clazzio covers for a good price while they are still practically new (and without the 3 month wait). I'll post pics when I get them installed. Here is a pic from Clazzio's site of a Tacoma with the color scheme I have on order.[IMG]

Thanks, I have decided on clazzios over katzskins as well, mainly was the labor to install was $1k+, then schedule it and dropping off truck for a day or 2 etc. Kinda ridiculous they will charge 8hrs, when I saw a guy do it all in around 3 hrs, from removal of old seats to finish install with new covers.

I would be interested in your clazzios set if you decide to sell, I'm about 2 months away where my truck will be paid off and I can actually spend $ on mods

The only weird thing was their custom logo stitching is like $175, where katzskin was like $25 or $50 addition

Ahh, they used to have a pretty good code for custom stitching. Don't see it now and looks the original post was edited last year so probably got taken off.

I went with Katzkins and installed them myself. Not an easy job but worth it in the end. It’s hard to tell that it isn’t factory

Installed some basic black leather Clazzios this week. I had a set of PVC Clazzios in my 2020 Tacoma that were excellent. These feel slightly nicer out of the box.
Lots of codes online for $65-75off $599.

Just ordered a set in black, leather insert option. Will post pictures when installed. Last 3 Toyota’s I’ve owned have had leather or softex and I much prefer that over the cloth in my sr5 trd off road. The 1/2” foam will not hurt either as these 3rd Gen seats are firm compared to what my 2020 tundra had with leather.

How do either of these do with the heated/ventilated seats?

I’m in Canada and the lowest price for the leather version was $885 after my 15% provincial sales tax. The only other site I found was well over a grand. They are arriving this Wednesday

They are perforated, you can also install clazzios own add on heat/cooled seats.

I have not used them with heat or ac, I am just a poor guy with sr5 cloth seats with 4 way adjustment (crazy for a 54k+ truck)

Us Canucks get heated seats in sr5’s. I like how quickly they heat up, which I’m sure will take longer with the Clazzios 1/2” foam and leather. As for AC, you’d have factory perforated leather so can’t see putting covers over them.

To be fair the cooled seats in the 3rd Gen are MEH. I don't even notice them.

I had black clazzios in my Tacoma. They were great. Not a single person to ever bring up the seat realized they were covers. My drivers seat got a small split on the entry side after two years and they sent me a new one free of charge. That was probably 2018-19 so policies may have changed but it was some excellent customer service. I would get them for the Tundra if it were cloth.

What a pain in the ass to install by yourself. It’s the seat backs that are very hard to get the Velcro to line up. Also my 2023 has 3 wires going into the seat. I had to unhook the Christmas tree style fasteners to get enough slack to fit them in the slot on the back. They look and feel great. That extra foam and leather made a huge difference in seat comfort.
