See I think you're wrong about this part... That was the other component; those people didn't even flinch at (literally) hot boxin' the entire room. I vividly (more like nasally) remember several just crackin' off without missing a beat. I think that's pretty common around regular yoga and hot yoga folks...

Although, when I do watch hot Canadian chicks doing it (you know on TV and such).... minimal sweat, hair and make up perfect, and the only discretion is a slight twinge of thin fabric breaching places to let you know it's a real workout and not just a photo/video shoot

Paydays go great w/a well balanced whiskey; just sayin'...

I mean I know you're into the White Claws and all... But, if you ever try some good ol' fashioned Bourbon or even a peaty Irish Whiskey, the PayDay bar will help balance out the experience :hattip:

Not only will it make you sick, it will straight freakin' kill you early...

If you have to work or live in what you determine to be a stressful environment, you really need a counterbalance to that; and I mean freakin' daily!

If the times you experience high levels of what you perceive to be stress (it's different for everyone) on an acute basis; find an outlet for those types of events working out or walking or running may not be your thing, but find something... It could be a drive w/loud music; building a lego set uninterrupted; swinging a hammer or axe at some shit; range time; polishing your truck... anything that allows you to disengage and clear whatever is in your brain that you are struggling to stop thinking about

Yeah, I can see that. Amongst my friends I'm the one that can (and will) clear a room. But in public I behave...cuz someone will tell my 78 year old mom and I'll get sent to my room.

The VA health care system is a joke.

And this is by far the best quote as to why.

Just a quick note to all veterans out there. If you haven't signed up for VA care, do so even if you never plan to use it. Congress allocates funds based on numbers. If you increase the numbers, more veterans can get help, and the help will improve. You'd give a buddy a helping hand when you were active, give one now by signing up.

Yup. All the morons wanting "free" healthcare need to give it a go, because the VA system is exactly what guberment healthcare would be. Look at the backlog now, and now imagine putting all citizens, plus the illegals, into it. It'd grind to a near halt and cost everyone 50-60% of their gross income.

Meanwhile, they're spending millions on these multiple projects that never stop. For nothing. This place is so hacked and botched and just utterly pieced together its unreal. It's had so much added in the 100 years it's been open its almost impossible to do our jobs. This 16,000 ft² remodel has dragged on for 11 months. So many redundant meetings. Just.......it's unbelievable how this place is still open. I keep telling them to just build a new one. There's 100s of acres a half mile down the road that the VA literally owns. Sheer fucking stupidity.

Here's an example. The hvac guy needs to get about 72" wide of duct down this hallway, plus plumbing, VAVs, fire alarm, and my cable tray and three 3", two 2.5", two 2", and one 1 1/4" conduits. We asked the VA how. They said figure it out. So we actually had to call the architect and get the engineers involved.

There is a lot to that, not going too deep the job I just lost to RIF had me stressed every single day I worked there for 16 of the 18 years. Now that it is over I am dealing with the wonders of what the future brings but now when I wake and look at the clock my body does not think “DAMN! I should be working!” I find myself rarely looking at the clock when I roll over at night.

I still do not have full control of my right hand and I am stressing about that since I cannot hunt, fish, shoot, bowl, golf, etc… but other than that I felt a sense of relief while listening to the call when I was RIF’d. I have been a workaholic my entire life and this is tough for me but so glad my 18 year journey is now over after a full 43 years.

 To better days in the future!!
