So I was poking around on autotempest looking for a very specific model of 2nd gen. Not to buy necessarily, just curious. I have a 2013 DC for my work truck with the 4.6, 2wd, column shifter, and vinyl interior. Basic radio, PW/PL, and cruise is about all it has.

Do they make that exact truck with the 5.7 and 4wd? Ive seen a DC, 5.7, 4wd, column shifter, but cloth interior, and a 4.6, 4wd, column shifter, vinyl interior. I'm guessing the 5.7 never came with vinyl interior?

"Grade" is what toyota called the work truck trim. The bumpers are usually painted black and more black trim on the interior than an SR5. The regular cabs came with manual windows and locks, no cruise. But i think the double cab and crewmaxes had power locks and windows. The doublecabs could definitely be had with vinyl, bench, and 4x4. I can't recall if I've ever seen one with the 5.7 or a crewmax with vinyl. I'd bet there were a few made. If you are in the south the 4x4s are harder to find. I don't think toyota pushed to upsell 4wd like Ford does.

My '07 regular cab grade was vinyl, bench, 5.7, 4x4, and tow package. My '10 crewmax grade has a bench, 5.7, 4x4, tow, but has carpet.
