LOL, and the feelings at end, can't help it :) Toyota don't give a flying'*uck and they will pick the easiest way out. If Toyota fully replace the engines and not rebuild them then I am sold. But you know they will never do that so no matter how you look at this you're pretty much *ucked. But hey I may have to eat my words if Toyota does the right thing.

They couldn’t even come up with a decent fix for a bed cover…..

Yeah, that was a mess. My cover leaks a little up front now, not terrible but worse than before the fix. And meanwhile Backflip continues to sell the exact same cover in the aftermarket with the original fastenings. LOL.

Makes me wanna do a backflip. I got the Rough Country one, has been solid for a whole year and my stuff remains bone dry in the back.

I like the retracts. But I'd have to sell or toss this one first so not in a hurry.

I wish it would have been available when I made my initial purchase.

I could have done without having the report read to me word for word. I can read.

And the "feelings" portion of the video seemed a little fan-boyish to me. Overall, it was 16 wasted minutes for me, but that's JMO.

I think that was kind of the point - only Toyota's words on the issue rather than an individuals interpretation and reiteration of something close to make it sound the way that individual feels it should or what it says between the lines. The "feelings" portion was a jab at the the doomsdaysayers that henneypenney squawkers offering a slanted interpretation of the recall rather than simple facts, while still being opining on the matter without clouding the facts of the recall as presented by Toyota and creating a clear separation between the two. Else, yes, he can read good. You can read gooder. We can read goodest.

Yes all P/U trucks have issues. Had a 2021 chevy Silverado and it was a lemon with over 39 issues. It took me 2 1/2 years to get my money back under the lemon law in Michigan. Got a 2024 GMC truck and it leaked oil from day one attempts to repair it took 20 days and it still leaked. Took it back to the dealership and they tried to fix it and took it for a test drive it. During the test drive the truck was stopped at a stop light and hit from behind. Totaled after 2 1/12 months got my money back and I am driving the 2023 Tundra Platinum with no issues so far and it is a better driving and riding truck then any truck I have owned in the past many I have owned. If mine is recalled and they have to rebuild or replace the engine I will stay with Toyota.
