I've been lurking for a few months. Thought about buying a 3rd gen but ended up with a mint '21 TRD Sport at a dealer near me with 8K miles on it.

Took it on a trip to Steamboat to pick up some Land Cruiser parts. Very impressed with the truck, interior comfort, 38 gallon tank, and the 4wd and stock tires got me through a gnarly blizzard.

Haven't touched it yet but I just started ordering a few things for it. Need to figure out which wheels and tires to go with.

Other than that I spend most of my time on Mud and have a '97 HDJ81 (diesel, go-to offroad vehicle) and a '21 200 Series (wife's car, not allowed to modify it yet. ha) The Tundra will be my work truck.

haha right? The salesman said it was a trade in from an older guy who barely used it. Said right before he traded it in, he went for a huge road trip - 500 miles.

Welcome. There are a few of us Tundra/200 series owners. '09 LX here.

Really jealous of your old diesel. I want to buy too many things and end up buying pretty much nothing. Now's a good time to save and invest anyway.

Nice combo! I had an LX470 a while ago that I loved, always liked the 570s as well. and yeah I feel you, I have a laundry list of "needs" - 911, Integra Type S, R33/R34, HZJ73, HZJ76, 40 series, haha you name it. But lately I've been finding it hard to waste so much money on cars when there are responsible ways to invest... what do ya do

Nice!! What year? Original drivetrain? That looks like a perfect setup. There's a red 40 on KSL up in Logan I've been looking at.

Also I just bought a 1900 so I'll probably pop up in the supercharger thread eventually

77, mostly original everything, though the body is an aluminum tub from Aqualu in Canada. I went to school in Logan actually, FJ was the daily for a couple years haha

I have zero complaints with my 1900, there's a lot of shit in that thread so I wouldn't worry about reading much of it besides maybe the first post and then just throw a comment up unless you like to read 500 pages of the same thing. I would definitely recommend throwing a pulley on it to make up for the elevation losses BEFORE you install the blower, since it can be a hassle if not outright impossible to install a pulley with the blower in the engine bay. I have a 2.0" pulley on mine and it makes ~8psi at 5500ft, compare that to a stock unit that's making probably 4psi.

Yeah I sat down to start reading 500 pages and it felt like I was back in college. Good to know on the pulley, I was going to post up pretty soon with that exact question. I live at 6K feet and usually spend most of my time between 6-10K (home/mountains) and 4K (Moab, SE Utah etc.) I'd like a setup that I can set and forget. As much as I'd like to make a TRX killer, I think I'll stick to 500 hp (ish) and call it good.

I wasn't even planning on it, I was trying to figure out how to afford the new 2650 when a package deal popped up - Kings 3.0 + TC UCAs + 1900 - all with 30K miles. Too good to pass up. And I was going to keep this build mild. haha whoops
