New truck - random hole in carpet

    I’m curious if everyone else with a 3rd gen has this weird hole in the carpet under the driver’s seat?
    Doesn’t seem right…

    You're not alone in having that hole, it's where the JBL amp sits in higher trims. Think your missing a filler plug or something

    I have it on both sides. There has to be something in the upper trims that are bolted there. :notsure:

    Weird. I only have it on the drivers side. Well at least I know it must be normal so I won’t bother bringing it up to my dealer, haha.

    Do like I did go to Amazon and get the adhesive backed black carpet like you put on subwoofers and cover all the holes it sticks pretty good ! I did it on both sides when I put on my seat jackers to lift the seat and used the rest of material on floor of tool box.
