Deteriorate Side View Mirror

    I'm in the planning stages of upgrading my 2010 Lmtd. and one of the things in the list is the Sideview mirror.

    This has been progressively getting worse and I have no idea what caused it. I was thinking that maybe the heater is faulty and is constantly on, or maybe just a defective coating.
    Either way I need to replace it and I'm asking for others that may have experience the same to chime in. If I'm not mistaken my truck has heated mirrors and also have the turn signal lighting. A while back I researched on replacement for the glass/reflective portion only but no results, which only gives me the option to replace the whole unit.
