So I took out a large bird today and it ended up in the left Intercooler. It took me over an hour just to access the area to remove it through the top and only mechanical fingers. I noticed a lot of debris leaves ,sticks, dead bugs piled up on the bottom of the intercoolers on both sides and was wondering is do you have to remove the entire front end just to access it to clean it out? I can’t find any other way that makes it easy to get to.

That’s what you gotta do. Remove the “ whole” front end. Not bad once you’ve done it a few times.

    cheers!

You can try using a pressure washer to spray it out.

Was super easy to take off the whole front end. I did it in the driveway and it took maybe 10 min to take it off when I was installing a light bar. TRDJON made a quick and easy video here: https://youtu.be/haLa_QW-SQg?si=B46nIGjDoLlV2aS6

I found a bird in my intercooler when I did this. upload_2024-6-8_18-36-20.jpg

Yeah not too bad. It’s more of a pain to mount it again. You have to massage it if you will.

Be sure to protect the fender and headlights with some masking tape when you remount the front clip. The headlights have mounting tabs as well for the front clip that should be aligned properly.

4 bolts up top along with 2 clips near the headlight.
4 bolts on the bottom and 4 bolts on each side to remove the fender liners.
