Hello, the reason for this post is because I just recently puchased my 2024 Toyota Tundra I force max and have been watching YouTube videos out of excitement.

I came across some videos that show the negative side to this truck and would like to ask if anyone has experienced any issues with their Tundra that I might need to know about.

I know i should have done my research before but I thought Toyota was dependable and have known them to be dependable.

someone please advise. Should I be worried or should I only take this as people opinions?

So far, less than 1% of vehicles affected by the notice have reported a failure related to the recall.
    Go drive and enjoy.

Other than an elevated risk of engine failure (enough that there is a recall), occasionally not knowing how much gas I really have, seat coming loose, ignorant amount of wind noise, cracked seat “panel”…..ah screw it; too much to list. You are rolling the dice with this truck. If you really want a Tundra, and can find a decent ‘21, I would go that route.

You’re under factory warranty and Toyota has a reputation to make thing right. Is it disconcerting? Yes. Should you lose sleep? No. Enjoy it

What happens when resale drops and an inattentive driver totals your 24? Is insurance going to cover what you owe or resale value? Keep in mind that resale hit could be significant. Just something else to consider.

No reason to get yourself worked up. Other peoples experiences may not happen to you and if you worry about it constantly you're not going to enjoy it. You have a factory warranty, if something goes wrong they'll fix it.

Just bought my 2024 TRD Pro May 16, 2024, that I put a down on sine 11 November 2023 last year. Like yourself, I did massive research and watch videos both negative and positive, explored this forum and researched aftermarket parts to my liking. Granted I have had the truck for little less than a month I have put a tonneau cover, bed, rug, power steps and love it. Seen and heard the horror stories of the crankshaft bearing failure but have 100% confidence in my purchase. Still have my 2010 Tundra RockWarrior that I bought brand new in 2010. I grew up Toyota in the 22r/re era both 4x4 and lowrider and have a 1994 in my garage. Don't let fear mongering decide what you want, life is too short to be afraid of the little stuff. Enjoy and do you!!! I love my Tundra's!!! Always will, enjoy its an awesome truck.

Drive it man enjoy it you can go on any forum any brand. And see the good the bad and the ugly. Youtube has hate and love for every truck car from past 15 years. I had to search for some Honda part numbers for lawnmower blades online. I’ll be damned if I didn’t go down a rabbit hole. On a lawn care forum these guys talk so much shit about their choices in mowers. And what was gonna blow up and only last a year. No reason to threat over if it might happen. Toyota will say more on this subject in time. You and others may find yourself worried over nothing this whole time.

    Don't even worry about it.

    - Its under warranty
    - Every doomsayer will take the opportunity to make you feel insecure
    - Every 2nd Gen will take the opportunity to make you feel insecure
    - Problems are less than 1% of affected trucks with an ACTUAL issue
    - I have 22 1794 Hybrid and according to this forum it will explode numerous times, and never take it out of town due to the risk for ' potential ' failures.
    - Yet here I am 2 years later issue free and would drive it across the country tomorrow without a concern.

Don't let the key board warriors get in your head.

What happens when a comet speeds in from space and hits my house while I am sleeping? Gap insurance, that’s what will save me!

Is that a comet or a TT3.4 flying out of someones Tundra and brushing the atmosphere before re entry and burning up as it hurls towards your house?

Good in your case, but many don't buy a gap insurance policy. My point is that nobody should take a significant loss due to this issue, but I believe they will and therefore might want to plan accordingly.
