2nd cracked drivers seat base cover. Had the 1st one replaced by Toyota this year, and now the replacement has cracked. Has anyone had this happen twice? If so, has Toyota fought you on replacing it for free? Service manager said I should contact Toyota

Yes. My second one is cracked, but not broken completely, yet. Was told that when it does completely break it will be replaced, as well.

@Scobes 7 there are multiple people in there that have broken it multiple times, might as well start a new one for the 3ed and 4th time while you're at it

Well damn. I didn’t know this was a thing, and also didn’t notice mine was cracked but guess I get to join the club. One down and I just happen to have maintenance scheduled at the dealership tomorrow so I’ll be trying to get it replaced.

has anyone found a way to reinforce it? Seems like pretty flimsy plastic but if it’s easy to remove maybe could epoxy in a rib for support or something
