Good day and thank you for allowing me in the forum. Name is Aram and I reside in SOCAL, I just embarked on my overlanding project converting my 2022 Tundra TRD PRO. components of the buildout include:

    1. Diamondback HD Cover
    2. Pull out kitchen/drawers from Bushtucker kitchens, Australia https://www.bushtuckerkitchens.com.au/
    3. Uptop Truss bed rack
    4. Roofnest Condor Overland 2
    5. Roofnest crossbars
    6. 300 watt Solar panel
    7. SHE rear seat delete
    8. Anker F2000 power station
    9. Uptop Alpha Roof Rack
    10. Pelican cases
    11. etc.
80% into the project, I found out that I should be using the 1350lbs load capacity specific to my vehicle and not just by subtracting the truck's curb weight from its GVWR written on the driver door panel sticker and the difference is substantial!

Well, 4 175lbs passengers and 22 gallons of gas at roughly 6lbs a gallon adds up to 832 pounds leaving me with 482lbs! Between the 190lb roof tent and CBI front and rear bumpers with swing outs, I am already over without the winch, cargo, water, etc. I am projecting I will be at around 1950-2000lbs. I have seen many similar buildouts and I am not going above and beyond from what I have seen.

I am sure many of you have experienced the same and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I've decided on manual airbags (to eliminate the weight of the compressor) and the Powerbreak upgrade.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! There have been many discussions - and complaints - about the Tundra's relatively low payload. A search on here for that topic will keep you busy reading for awhile!

    Welcome from the valley.
How will you air up your tyres after a overland adventure? I think on board air is more important than half the stuff you have listed

Of course! ARB dual in the bed on a Molle panel right next to the 400W outlet, this is what it will look like.
