I’m laying under the truck trying to figure out the proper position for the 4WD actuator.

I’ve pulled it apart and reassembled about 6 times now.

if anyone has a link or if o in how to position the wheel so the sensors read properly please help a fella out.

it’s day 2 under this thing and I’m out of patience now.

also kick the engineer in the gonads who designed this and didn’t put any markings on it. A hole.

When I get in front of a big screen tonight I'll look up a post that helped me. It tells you the three pistons of the TC rod, and advice on clocking, and insertion of the small gear.

I think i might understand what needs to happen... Although I'm hesitant to climb under the thing for the thrid day in a row to not make it work.

What would work though: someone pops the housing apart on a working unit to verify the position when it is in 2WD, and then take a picture of it for the rest to have a baseline. (Not asking anyone - it is a hassle)

I believe the 2WD position will be at the one end of the contacts and the third rail will not touch. Maybe I can get a picture to describe later.

Nothing helpful in the FSM, I looked.

So, here is what I have collected that I thought would help me. Keep in mind I Have not gotten back under there just like you, but I did have it apart and clean it, and get 4Hi working. I am guessing that I am a few teeth off on the gear.
A couple screen shots I took, I'm not searching for the actual posts.

If you want to confirm if it is positioned in 2H this shows what readings you should have in 2H.
