    Truck is a 2023 non-hybrid with about 11k miles.

Long story short squirrels have taken over my neighborhood and are very into eating my fuel vent system. They managed to eat enough that I needed a replacement fuel tank.

In my first month with the new tank my range has been consistently 30+ miles more than before and my mpg has been in the low to mid-18s whereas it was previously in the 16/17 range.

I’m wondering if there is a new or different fuel level transducer that accounts for the difference. I’ve also had the transmission recall done so maybe that has something to do with it?

Either way It’s a nice positive from a few months of aggravation.
