I want to see and hear how ya'll organize your gear in your truck beds.
I know some things will just get tossed in the bed, but curious how people strap down other stuff to the sides, with the tie downs were they are in this third gen Tundra's.
I want to have a bin or two secured to the cab side of the bed with items I always want on me: first aid kits, flash lights and so forth. I also want to strap down some chairs to always have in the truck bed. Thinking Front Runner Expander Camping Chairs that are secure and strapped down.
Finally I will want a refrigerator strapped down near the back power supply. I don't think I'll go with a slide so curious how others tie these down.
I'd like to avoid expensive molle panels.
Thanks in advance for your input!

I keep it simple because I don't keep much gear with me - just some towing related stuff when I'm pulling my boat. A 2X8 divider and rubber mats to keep stuff from sliding around. Also have a tri-fold cover to keep things out of sight.

Mine came with the bed extender which creates a nice compartment at the tail gate to keep stuff from moving. I have never used it in extended mode. But use it often as a bed divider. I have a few totes that fit the space for when I have loose stuff to transport.

What kind of stuff you wanting to organize? I have a rifle case that I took all the foam out except the very bottom piece. Have a secondary first aid kit in there, tools, ratchet straps, and a few other odds and ends that have come in handy over the years. Main med kit stays in the center console for easy access and jump pack stays behind the rear seat. Have the hybrid so no under seat storage but this method works for me

I keep a small HF tote with some tools, rope, paracord, duct tape, etc. just tossed up in the front corner.

Few other things attached to the rails. I have a few pairs of lashing straps handy to secure loads.

Since I have a Crewmax and short bed I try to keep bed floor space open so my surfboards fit.

I have one of the ratcheting cargo bars from HF but rarely need to use it since getting the Bedrug, things tend to stay put pretty well now.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Decked system. I wouldn’t pay the current asking price but they can be found on-line and used in the 750.00 neighborhood. Original owner of my ‘21 paid for new. I love them.

I actually just got some molle panels that go on the side of the bed. I'm going to try to mount them soon and I'll post some pics. I wanted a better way to have my recovery gear organized instead of just in a big waterproof Plano box that takes up precious space.

I went back and forth on a Decked system, but I just don't like the idea of losing half the depth of my bed.

There are specs somewhere that show the dimensions to create your own dividers right? In those slots on both sides, close to the tailgate.

I've got the Decked system in my truck, I too went back and forth on the loss of bed depth, at the end of the day it was worth it for me to be able to carry a set of tool securely everyday.

I’d like to see these molle panels I’m looking for something similar. Although a lot of my mounts from my Tacoma will work in this truck as well.

I like the decked as well, had it in two trucks. Sadly I ended up hating it as I lost a lot of space in the bed of the truck. also got stuck off-roading where the back end of the truck was stuck., slide down a slope I was coming out of as it started raining and I didn’t want to get stuck. Was basically a bowl shape that had clay sides. Where was all my recovery gear? Yup in the decked and I couldn’t open the bed. Lesson learned. I started tossing the recovery gear on top of the decked. Had to wait for my buddy to come me up the slope. Wasn’t the decks fault but it made me rethink my decision.

The best setup I ever had was a bed slide and a tonneau. Installed tie downs to The slide and voila. It worked great.

Strongly debating going back to it.

I had a "SuperSlide" on my 2008 Avalanche. It was from a guy who tried to make a BedSlide competitor that came in kit form without a floor (so it came in a 6"x6" box) and you just went down to the local hardware store to get some plywood. Cost $500 instead of $1500+. I LOVED that thing and am pretty sure I sold a bunch more just by people watching me use it. I even debated removing it when I traded in my Avalanche (6 yrs ago) but didn't. It was a great addition to the truck bed - as long as you didn't need to carry dirt/gravel/etc.

Here's the link to the Molle panels for the 2022+ Tundra. They have them for the sides and front of the bed, as well as for various places around the truck. I decided not to do it since I didn't have anything else Molle-wise and already had the axe and shovel mounts in my garage. The only thing I bought this time was the Propane tank mount ($15) and a new fire extinguisher mount ($20).

    Yes.
It’s in the ‘long’ owners manual… if you got a physical copy look on p430.
If you did or didn’t get the physical copy, first, reply to my thread please, then you can get to it via your Toyota App- truck, glovebox, manuals… the top link. Search on ‘deck divider’.
