Putting new tires on new to me 06 AC 2WD V8 Tundra.
Noticed VIN plate in door jamb specs 265 65 17.
Toyota Owners website spec by VIN specs 245 70 16.
The 265 65 17s are 3.6% greater circumference, rolling you 3" further per rev.

My 17" alloy wheels are stock Toyota [slotted spoke]; So, is the spec published on the Toyo owners site just a generic value, eventho the VIN Plate on truck specs the 265 65 17s??

GPS checked my speedo-odo and it matches, so appears tire size per VIN Plate spec. is correct.
