RCI SKID + CBI BUMPER

    Thought I’d post my minor issue with this combo. I had the RCI front skid before I bought a CBI Baja Hybrid bumper. Mounted the bumper over the skid without problem, but couldn’t take skid off to do a serpentine belt change. Problem is the front lip on the skid. So….had to undo bumper and wiggle out skid plate.

    Marked skid where it touched bumper, and took an angle grinder to it

    Worked out fine, and both products are excellent quality, but not really made to fit together exactly (they each have they’re own skid / bumper packages)

    Yeah. I had same combo issue. Your cut is a lot straighter than mine. Lol.

    I saw that same issue, I already had my bumper on order when I installed my skids so I was able to trim the front edge piece before I installed which saved the hassle
