I had the same issue too with 4Lo 4Hi blinking, traction light, Abs and engine light on my 2016 crew cab 4x4 Tundra 5.7. Took it to Toyota dealership and paid $199 for diagnostic. They said that it could be my rear left abs wheel speed sensor and they noticed that there was a leak behind the wheel but will need to pay another $199 to see what was leaking. I took my truck and left. I bought an abs wheel speed sensor for the rear left and replaced it but nothing changed. Had a friend with an expensive scanner that he can calibrate it to get the lights reset. Nothing change, but ran a live scan to see the wheel speed sensor and noticed that the rear left speed sensor is acting weird. The other wheels speed had the same speed but that rear left was not matching with the other wheels speed. I ended up did my own research and found that the wheel sensor can throw all the lights on; 4Lo 4Hi, Abs, Traction and engine light.

I inspected the new abs speed sensor that i replaced and noticed that it had some kind of oil on it. I took out the axle shaft and replaced the axle shaft seal and inspected the bearing and found that the bearing was bad. I ordered an axle shaft that comes with wheel bearing online at partsgeek.com for $416.97.

Replaced with new axle seal, abs speed sensor and axle shaft set with wheel bearing pressed. It cost me about less than $650.00. Oh, I also ordered me an OBD2 scanner Bluetooth online at Amazon for $119.00. I was able to clear the codes after and the lights never came back. Problem solved! Hope this helps.

My 21 with 56k just started doing this. With blind spot monitoring and cross traffic. Won’t go into 4wd and cruise doesn’t work.

If the rear wheel bearing fails it can slice the speed sensor causing these symptoms

    Onzo,

Thanks for the info, I also replaced speed sensor and reset with OBD. I got 4 of my 5 codes to go away along with flashing to stop. My BSM and 4WD are working properly now but still have ABS and traction contol and Brake light on. OBD is showing ABS error, going to check relays next. I don't have any leaks but will look closer at seals and axle; I do pull a trailer often. Thanks again.

Some advice to add here after dealing w a similar issue. Find a good code reader, or borrow one, and track the error down to the specific wheel. I threw two new sensors at the rear wheels when the issue was the front right and the wiring harness to the same.

I'm new as of 2day to this forum, i purchased our used tundra in Oct of 23 131K. I changed all fluids, filters off the back. The issue I'm having is the Reverse lite and the Right turn signal lite illuminates when the brakes are pressed. Now it's intermittent. I just start about a month ago. Reading other treads, i did purchased a new 7/4 pin trailer connector since the one i had has no cover for the 7 pin plug or the 4 pin plug. Rumor has it that it cood've ben a bad 7/4 pin connector, so i disconnected the plug, wrapped it in plastic so it woodn't get wet and the lite still comes on. Now the reverse lite doesn't illuminate all the time, sometimes only the right turn signal illuminates. My abs and traction lites have come on like 1nce of 2wice but not its not often. Yesterday when i drove to work, the right turn signal was on all the way home when the brakes were applied. Reverse lite was on as well. But 2day on my way to work, when i started the car and pulled off, the right turn signal came on 1nce, but after that, my 20 mile drive to work was clean meaning when i applied my brakes it was normal, until I backed n2 my parking spot, putting it in reversed trigged something and my right turn signal was on as i was backing up and the abs and traction lites came on. I'm at a loss, I thing it a switch of some sort and not a ground issues, like some suggest. Checked all the rear bulb sockets (left and right) no corrosion, bulbs changes, rear ground wire intact. I did just replace my rotors and pads front and back using r1 concept brake and have to rplc both front calipers since when i took the quad piston caliper off, the brake line snapped. Tundra has 131K miles on it when i brought it. What r yall thoughts?
