I am in need of an ECU for my 2002 Tundra with a 5spd manual trans, 4x4, and has the 3.4L 5VZ-FE engine. I can find tons of similar ECU's online but the part numbers are slightly off. My ECU is 89661-0C470. Anyone have any knowledge on where to get one? I will be looking around yards locally in the meantime. Thanks!

For ECU, go to Flagship One / FS1: https://www.fs1inc.com/

Very reputable, and will give you the most recent reflated (updated) ECU for your part number (89661-0C470). You may get a higher part number (ending with a higher number) because your original part has been replaced/superseded.

I'd check for 95-04 Tacomas, 95-98 T100's and 96-02 4runners with the same drive train too. They all are had options with the 5vz and r150

FS1 will have it. Part numbers do increment up when new versions are released. I suspect that’s what he’s running into. FS1 should have a list of all-compatible supersessions.
