Looking to replace my headlight lens. To cloudy to bring to new look. This is for a 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5. I see them all over Amazon and Ebay for all kinds of different prices. Any suggestions or help appreciated.

Wondering, before swapping headlights have you tried the heat gun approach? I've heard it works but...reluctant to try yet.

Thanks for the response RoskoP! I have not tried the "heat gun approach". Where can I find this method, YouTube ? I will give it a shot if it does not leave me with a pile of plastic goo for a head light.:)

I have had good luck doing the following, but haven't tried heat gun yet (too scared).

1: Get one of those polishing drill attachments for a cordless drill https://www.amazon.com/SPTA-Polishing-Polish-Buffing-Automotive/dp/B0CMCC17NC?sr=8-40
2: Clean the headlights then use alcohol on final clean
3: I use 3m or turtle wax polishing compound with drill attachment, push pretty hard and lay it on thick....buff the crap out of the lens.
4: clean with some windex or another cleaner....repeat on any remaining foggy spots, make sure you don't touch the paint around the light.
5: Wax the headlights or coat them with something to last a bit longer.

This process usually lasts a year or two for me, but I park in a garage too.
