Bracket mystery (fell off)? Do you know what this is?

    Does anyone know what this is? I found it in my front splash guard. It looks like a bracket that bolts pass through. Exactly what for is my concern/question. See attached photos.

    I tried to attach the photos. It kept buffering so I tried loading my inquiry anyway. Apparently that didn’t work. I’m a brand new member. I’ll try again.
