The factory cam adjuster bolts are frozen on my 2018 LCA’s. Truck has 103k miles now, so bushings could probably stand a replace, too. Toytec confirmed this for me last time I took it in for alignment. They did the best they could, but the outer edges of my front tires are getting pretty chewed up. Time to do something about this so I can achieve proper alignment.

This truck is lifted about 3”on ADS 2.5 system (with ads UCA’s) and I’m running 35’s on method wheels with +35mm offset. Hoping to upsize to 37’s on my next set of tires. I plan to keep the truck long term and want a good setup that can be serviced. Secondary front shocks are a possibility, as well. This is a daily driver, off-roader, and travel trailer tow pig.

The way i see it, I’ve got 2 options:

    1. retain oem arms and rebuild them with poly bushings, aftermarket cam adjusters, and weld on secondary mounting tabs. If I went this route, I’d probably just order a new set of LCA’s and prep them with new bushings prior to the swap since I don’t have enough experience/time to take everything apart and be confident in my ability to get it back together in a weekend. I’ve heard mixed reviews about “stock” LCA’s other than the Toyota branded oem parts, so that’s what I’d be ordering.

    2. Go aftermarket. I’m not paying $3300 for TC arms, but LSK looks to have a good offering for about $1800 that come with bushings and Heim adjusters for the sway bar connections. No need to fabricate or monkey around with factory bushings in this scenario, which is nice.

either way, I plan to install aftermarket cam adjustment sleeves/hardware. SPC or Bison seem to 2 good options.

There’s obviously some advantages to a purpose built, aftermarket lca but the strength of the oem arm doesn’t seem to be an issue for my use case.

I’m Looking for opinions/input. Thanks guys!
