    Evening Everybody.

I am looking to put a light bar inside my hood scoop. The first one which is about 41" per my measurement. I dont want the head light revolution one. I was wondering if anyone has installed multiple 6 inch light bars and how did it go?

DD sells a 42" light bar and I wondered if anyone had tried that one in the hood scoop slot?
    Thanks in advance

I bought the one from whoever sells it that is custom fit for the hood scoop. It was an easy install and it has been great.

I've had it for over a year with no issues and it wires into the factory bright switch.

That's the NSV and Headlight Revolution sells it.

    I don't think the DD 42" will fit. I have the BD S8 40" and it's tight.

    Hood scoop or hood bulge?

The hood scoop which is the larger of the two. Definitely not the small one which i thought was the bulge

The large opening is the bulge. The scoop is the smaller one.

Thanks all and thanks for the picture that made it very clear to me that I was in error. Now that I have that information i will continue to look for something to fit in that space that is not the one from HLR.com. I just think that there has to be other options out there that are as bright as the DD. pros I have as fog lights or the Morimoto 4bangers that I have as ditch lights.

The NSV is a plug and play fitment without having to cut anything. They changed the wiring to where it is only powered when the high beams are on if i recall correctly. I don't know if anyone has modded or rewired theirs differently with success. Another note on the NSV is that for $1K, it is only 9,000 lumens. For roughly a slightly higher price, the BD S8 40 inch is over 25,000 lumens. Below is the mounting kit if you go the BD route and I also attached the installation instructions so that you can see what is involved.

Ironically I saw a tundra with a bar in the bulge
Though I’m not sure what kind it was. That was the confirmation I needed
