Just saw one for the first time last weekend and then saw another the other day. First one was towing a trailer with a beat up derby car ha. If you have money and buy one ironically or as a novelty that’s cool but what a ridiculous and silly vehicle haha.

If they made it look normal nobody would buy it (F-150 lightning, Rivian). Just proof that Elon knows his customer base is composed of deseperate attention whores and gadget collectors.

I've seen it in person, it's horribly ugly and i'd be embarassed to drive it. All the gawkers and the fact it's not a very good pickup truck doesn't help it's case either. Some youtube clown here has one with horns on the hood that i saw driving around at home depot.

Except Rivians have sold really well, they just can’t make them fast enough.

    I won’t argue on lightings.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    'zactly.

Rivian's look different enough to get the young folks/materialistic to buy in.

if they would just change the headlights, they could/would increase sales.
and fix the suspension/alignment to allow more then 7500 miles on a set of tires.

getting an EV f150 is ...well...then your driving an F150. everybody does that.

Saw the Tesla truck a couple of weeks ago in the wild and did a double take to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was. Looks like something from an early sci-fi movie. There are numerous Rivian trucks and SUVs running around here, though, and a couple of the EV Hummers.

I believe the EV Hummer is commonly known as the Bummer. If it's not, then it should be.

and EV Hummer drivers have the tinge of of douchebaggery.

CT - not so much. you are just an attention whore at this point.

    much like Maclaren drivers.

Shit I drastically prefer the third gens over a CT. I don't think they look bad at all! And they have pistons, which is sweet

Yeah I can at least take a rivian seriously. As kind of a rich, modern, upitty vehicle. But I view all teslas and EV’s like that pretty much. Right or wrong.

I see a Rivian in my neighborhood quite often. I've seen a cybertruck, much like the Teslas in NorCal sitting in someone's driveway. I also think Tesla is the more affordable Ferrari or Lambo, where a select few can afford them.

I have seen one parked a few times at the high school 1/4 mile track where I do my sprint workouts. Only one known to be in the area.

One time I stopped to snap pics with my phone for my 8 year old. Amusingly the dude was in the driver's seat at the time and seemed irritated by the attention. I got that vibe Like maybe the gawking and photo taking was cool for the first week then quickly got old.

Execution lacking and not my cup of tea but I think it's a uniquely cool looking thing that does a good job appealing to people with money who want to drive something radical.

Yeah but cmon if you are gonna drive a cyber truck that comes with the territory.

unless dude was strange and bought it as a serious vehicle and then I’m just not sure what to say
