Hello,
I have an old but trusted red 2003 Tundra SR5 Sport with 230,000 miles. It was nearly totaled in 2007 so now the clear coat is pealing badly. I use it now to take care of our gardens and property.
Purchased a pearl white 2022 Tundra 1794 Standard Bed in July 2022. It had a few minor issues in the beginning and all but one has been resolved. The RR door still has a door gasket issue causing wind noise. The severity varies and is worst in the winter. Toyota has a case number open and I am still waiting for a fix.
I purchased the new Tundra primarily because the 03 was just becoming too uncomfortable on trips longer than an hour and I needed something that would tow a 30’ travel trailer. The 03 just wasn’t going to do that.
My wife and I both love driving it and have taken it on several long trips of over 700 miles with 800 lbs of payload and still managed 23 MPG.
