Staying with stock height and regular type shocks, has anyone found out exactly the difference in function of the non pro TRD vs the regular shocks?
For the 2nd gen the valving was way different with the TRD dampening more in both directions over the black shocks.
I haven't found any info on valving.

There are also the shocks for the factory lift. I assume they are longer but my interest is would there be a worthwhile upgrade to switch to TRD shocks

Either TRD off road or TRD sport.

The TRD sport will lower the front of your truck. The TRD offroad will not and will definitely ride better.
