waaay...back in early 2020, We had open discussion at our annual meeting.

I said - this admin will crash this economy and stoke the flames of racism....all the while telling you EVERYTHING is fine.

and that is exactly what is happening.

One of our board members, who is way more worldly (and educated) than me, gave a fascinatingly detailed dissertation on my comments. shocking.

all of it came true. that's not exceptional...it's the actual verbalization of common sense. quite the lost art.

I reckon about half of us can see it for what it is....the other half believe whatever their phone tells them.

I feel no compassion for the fickle young folks that will get the rug yanked out from under them when they enter the job market.

So, my buddy owns a blood/organ transport business. A few weeks ago he asked me to be on call for him for some runs (which I’ve done) The plan is for him to order me a used vehicle and have it equipped to match his…
Yes, we are legally cleared to run code when it’s requested by the hospital.

I can’t get a good still photo at night of the front but it’s fully lit. Full sirens / air horns, strobes, etc. I’ve ran “stat” (as quickly and safely as you can) a few times for him to Cheyenne at hospitals request(s).

    Yes....

This will be another 2008-2010 shit show, but on a much larger scale; folks should keep an eye out on who scoops up all the foreclosed properties in mass quantities and then follow it back to who was sitting on the executive boards of the banks and other large corporations that have been and continue to be 'successful'... More folks will be in poverty, the rich will continue to build wealth and those of us in the middle continue to slide closer to being 'poor'; and not just financially we need to look at people's entire quality of life in making that assessment.

Crazy. This must be a regional thing. Were at $10 for chicken, carnitas and $12 for steak and Barbacoa. Agree that the quality has gone down though.

Girls wanted Wendy's the other day so I took them.

$31 for 2 meals. Chicken sandwiches, regular size. Price of food is what's driving the divide between have and have nots thats for sure. And not just in restaurants.

whenever we have our bullshit sessions here in the mornings...this always comes up.

how much longer will the common man put up with having no disposable cash?

at what point does the public sentiment pop?

    it's coming.

I reckon once credit cards lock up (soon)...let's say around October of this year(hint hint)...credit card debt will be forgiven(like student debt)

Went to a local family owned Mexican restaurant. Not a big place. Very nice people. Two combo plates with sodas + tip was $36. Worth it though. I want them to stay open.

    Question for the hive...

I'm about to get in trouble - because I know me.

I am about to learn how to pull the boat out of the water and onto the trailer*.
The lake has recently been rising due to flooding and I need to be able to move it instead of worrying about how high the water will get.

    the question

what's the general max tongue weight on a stock 2020 1794?

and don't worry about total weight - because I will be over limit. ~8800lbs with trailer.

and don't get all technical - ball park it for me.

I don't mind a little squat. I just don't want to break anything.

because I reckon the boat will put about 650-750 tongue load on the truck.

I just need to haul the damn thing about a mile to the house.

    * and this is not the time to give me shit about not EVER having done this. answer the question first....then give me shit.

Thanks, good to be above ground still. I was kinda lucky as I was noticing going uphills and working giving my ticker some problems. What really set off alarms was my low heart rate, as the my watch was reporting my heart rate was below 40 for 10 minutes. I started to get the warning more often vs 6 months apart. I’m doing good, today is my 4 weeks with the pacemaker and I think my heart is doing better, as the walks up the hills are easier. On the weekend my generation 6 iwatch quit working, I went out and bought a new one one Monday as I figured it save my ass. I never had any pain, stroke or attack but was probably close to having an incident of some sort. I had a heart monitor that was to go 30 days, 5 days into the study the cardiologist called and was talking pacemaker. Kinda gives a new outlook on life. Sorry to hear about your co worker at 52. I made it to 73 and hope to be around for awhile longer.
