3 of my seat belt plates face inside (so they go and clamp in straight up) but the right back side faces towards the door (so I have to turn it around to clamp). Anyone else has this issue? Any idea how I can switch the plate to face towards inside?

Have you tried yanking it all the way out to see if the belt is twisted on the roller ?

Yes I did. Thanks for the idea though. Just wondering if it’s a one off issue or others had this issue too. Don’t know how I can switch it around unless it’s dismantled from the top roller.

Just fold a small part of the belt over and slide the plate slot up over it and start working it around.

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Sounds like they used a left
handed screw driver to install it.

Aren’t the ends of the slots rounded to allow the belt to be pass over itself back into the correct position?

Fold about a third of it over above the plate and pull the plate up so you have the full tension of the fixed belt at the bottom. Pull the plate over the fold; don't try to fold it in the slot. Keep the belt squeezed between your fingers while pulling the plate up. It will pass over it and then just keep sliding the belt over to flip it. Oh, getting it wet is optional but only if you want to talk dirty to it.
