Hey everyone, I have a 2010 sr5 2wd tundra w/tow package. I was just starting down the rabbit hole of researching the front coilovers and rear shocks when I noticed that the tundra lean had struck. On my driver side, the height to the wheel well is 38 7/8” while the passenger side is right about 41”. All of which made me worry about my leaf springs since it’s been used for fairly heavy loads when getting rid of renovation debris and occasional heavily loaded camping trips down logging trails. Let me know what you guys think… Shot out and need replacing when I do my shocks of keep them as is.

    Driver side.

IMHO Yes, probably have a broken overload as well. Springs are consummable, so replace when worn. U-bolts as well.
If you are continuing with heavy loads I have a set of air bags from SOS suspension. reasonable price and easy install.
    Never have this problem again.

A more accurate place to take your measurements would be top of spring to bottom of frame.

While I agree there are more accurate places to measure from, you can see the "W" shape of the leafs currently. Sounds like it's time order a replacement set of leaf springs that maintain your overload. If you're not chasing suspension travel, lift, or offroad improvements, a HD type OEM replacement leaf pack would do you good.

Thanks for the input guys. Since it’s bone stock and we just paid off the mortgage I was wanting to lift the front end a little. Nothing crazy just a bit of leveling to take some of the rake out. I was looking at the ome 612 coilovers and shocks with the Dakar leaf springs but I don’t know if there’s enough weight up front for the spring rate. Any recommendations for a 1.5/2” front suspension lift & leaf spring combo that will work. There so many options it’s hard to choose especially for a 2wd. My tundra is 90% street driven but I do use it as a truck for bed hauling - full bed of firewood, landscaping materials, etc.. I don’t mind if the ride is a bit stiff, just looking for better than stock and reliable. Trying to keep the budget 1,500-2k.

Set of airbags might work. I run mine minimal 5 lbs around town. Don’t even known they are
there. But air up to 50 psi and I can load 1800 lbs of corrugated roofing without any ride effects
and the truck sits perfectly level under load. Couldn’t be better.
